Community Assessment
My group for the community assessment class looked at how effective libraries are when serving parents and young children. This project was inspired by a group member’s library storytime age groups. We found that the studied libraries meet the needs of parents but do not go above and beyond expectations. Another conclusion was dividing storytime into age groups is beneficial to the kids and parents.
