CAL 2007
In the fall of 2007, one class was about the Global Information Infrastructure. Each group created a project that connected a local problem in Colorado to a global issue. My group compared the causes of literacy in Colorado and Afghanistan.
Alison Farnham, Elise Blas, Teresa Harper, Lyneen Doucet-Watkins presenting our poster at Colorado Association of Libraries in 2007. We had a supporting web page and chocolate to show people the possible causes of illiteracy in girls. We also showed ways to overcome illiteracy in each culture.
